Geography
The village is located 25 km north of the city of Navashino on the banks of the Oka River .
History
According to salary books of 1676, the parish church of All-Merciful Savior was located in the village of Kondratovo , this church had the court of the priest Peter and the court of the clerks, the parish had the yard of the landowners, the yard of a backyard servant and 13 peasant courtyards [2] . At the end of the 19th century, the church was absent in the village; the village was part of the Peremilovo-Desert parish .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Monakovsky volost of the Murom district of Vladimir province . In 1859 [3] in the village there were 11 yards, in 1905 [4] - 21 yards, in 1926 [5] - 47 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Efremov village council of the Murom region of the Gorky region , since 1931 - as part of the Efanov village council , since 1936 - as part of the Gorky region , since 1944 - as part of the Mordovshchik district (since 1960 - Navashinsky district, from 16 May 1992 - Nizhny Novgorod region). In 2004, the Efanovsky village council was given the status of a rural settlement [6] . In 2009, the rural settlement Efanovsky village council was abolished, and all its settlements became part of the rural settlement Pozdnyakovsky village council [7] . In May 2015, the rural settlement “Pozdnyakovsky Village Council” was abolished, and Kondrakovo became part of the Navashinsky urban district [8] .
