Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Samara River, 39 km south-east of the district center of the city of Kinel .
History
The beginning of the village was laid by the Krasnosamara fortress of the Samara fortified line, founded by the decision of the Senate in 1736 by naval lieutenant Peter Semenovich Bakhmetyev to secure the way along the Samara river and protect settled settlers from the raids of steppe nomads. After the suppression of the Pugachev uprising, the line of fortresses in the Trans-Volga region lost its military significance and was abolished. Fortresses became ordinary villages, and the Cossacks and infantry soldiers were transferred to the category of state peasants. By the end of the 19th century, there were more than one hundred households with half a thousand inhabitants in the Krasnosamarsky fortress. By 1911 there were already 130 yards, arable land - one and a half thousand acres. In the first years of Soviet power, some of the residents moved out of the village, forming the village of Kruglinsky. During the years of collectivization in the village, the collective farm “Lenin's dawn” was organized, which later became part of the state farm “Utevsky” [2] .
