<75th 77th Ceremony >
The 76th Golden Globe Awards for Cinematography and Television Awards for 2018 took place on January 6, 2019 at the Hotel ( Beverly Hills , Los Angeles , California ). Nominees were announced a month before the event. The ceremony was broadcast live on NBC , the presentations were first made by actors Sandra O and Andy Samberg [1] [2] .
The honorary award named after Cécile B. de Mille for his life achievements in the field of cinema was awarded to actor Jeff Bridges. [3]
At the ceremony, for the first time, a new special award for life achievements in the field of television was presented (the television equivalent of the Cecil B. De Mille Prize). The award was named after the actress, the five-time owner of the Golden Globe Carol Burnett , who became the first winner of the new award [4] [5] .
