Julia Aleksandrovna Lozhechko (December 14, 1989, Bryansk ) - Russian gymnast ( gymnastics ). Champion of Europe 2007, multiple champion of Russia. Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2010).

Biography

The gymnast was born on December 14, 1989 in Bryansk. The only child in the family. Parents Olga and Alexander Lozhechko. She began to engage in gymnastics in early childhood. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Physical Culture named after P.F. Lesgaft . It is also mentioned under the name of Ovchinnikov [1] .

Career

Sports career began at 7 years old. She achieved particular success at a time when she began to train seriously under the guidance of coach Yu. N. Shamenin. Later she trained under the guidance of O. A. Shirokova. Represented the sports club of the Russian army.

In 2003, the athlete was included in the Russian national team and at the same time she entered the international level. At the European Championship among juniors in 2004, she won a gold medal in team competitions as part of the Russian team, and also won a silver medal on a log.

In 2005, she won the bronze medal in the all-around at the European Championships. In 2006, she was part of the Russian national team; they won bronze at the European Championships. She was chosen to participate in the 2006 World Cup, but broke her fingers in training and was forced to leave.

In 2007 at the European Championships she won a gold medal on a log and a silver medal in floor exercises.

Repeated champion of Russia (2005, 2006 - all-around; 2007 - log; 2010 - team, as well as 2008 - all-around and team [2] ), silver (2004 - log; 2005 - parallel bars; 2007 - floor exercises) and bronze (2003 - log) prize-winner of the championships of Russia.

In 2011, she became the bronze medalist of the World Universiade in team competitions.

After the end of his sports career, he works as a trainer in the Moscow youth sports school “Sambo-70”.
