After the last ballet show on March 1, the curtain rose 18 times during the applause. “Hertha” became Taglioni’s last production in the St. Petersburg troupe - the next season he took over as chief choreographer at the Warsaw Bolshoi Theater , where he soon resumed this performance, as well as his other ballets. His daughter Maria also left Petersburg, her roles passed to other performers. In the season of 1842/1843 on November 11, Elena Andreyanova made her debut in the party of Hertha, and Olga Shlefokht debuted on February 4.
In 1848 , Paul Taglioni [2] staged the ballet “Fiorita, or Queen Elfried” at the Theater of Her Majesty to the music of Caesar Pugni [3] . As V. M. Krasovskaya suggests, perhaps he was an abridged alteration of his father's ballet. The main role was again played by Maria Taglioni. As in Giselle , national dances here contrasted with the dance scene of ethereal creatures, but the plot, according to the ballet , “only slightly burdened the production [4] .
The libretto of the ballet was published in 1842 (Glazunov's printing house, 50 kopecks) and in 1843 (Smirnov's printing house, 50 kopecks).
