Wang Lei ( wh. Ex . 王磊 , pinyin : Wáng Lěi , born August 12, 1986 , Jinan , Shandong ) is a Chinese professional basketball player , currently playing for the Bai Roquets Chinese Basketball Association and the men's national team of China . Plays a light forward position.

Career
Born in Shandong Province , Jinan City. At the age of 11, he moved with his parents to Jiaojз ( Henan ), where he began to play basketball at the school level. In 2003, together with Yi Jianliang , Tang Zhengdong and Zhang Qingpeng, he was invited to the youth national team of China. In 2008, he played for the first Chinese team at the Olympic tournament in Beijing . He was also invited to the national team to participate in the 2009 Asian Championships . Together with the national team won the gold medal in the tournament.
