Biography
Born March 9, 1934 in Leningrad. During the war - blockade.
He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Leningrad State University (1957) and in the same post-graduate school (1961-1964).
In 1957—1961 worked at the Institute of Semiconductors of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR , in 1964-1970 - Research Institute of Chemistry, Leningrad State University (in 1965-1966 he trained at Cornell University in the USA).
In 1970-1972. Associate Professor of the Faculty of Chemistry, LSU
Since 1972, at the invitation of the first rector of the University of Syktyvkar, Valentina Vityazeva, he worked as a vice-rector for educational and scientific work at SSU (until 1990, with a break from 1981 to 1983, when he was a senior scientist for preparing a doctoral dissertation).
In 1973–2006 - Head of the Department of Chemistry (since 1995 the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry), in 2013–2017 a professor-consultant.
Research interests: theoretical and experimental development of the basics of creating substances and materials with given physical and physicochemical properties.
Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1984), professor.
Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1994). Awarded the Order "Badge of Honor" (1981) and three medals.
He died on November 26, 2018.
