Biography

Born in 1997 in Hamburg ( Germany ). His parents come from the West African Republic of Ghana .

Amateur career

In May 2013, he won the 41st German Youth Championship in Bad Blankenburg with three early victories against Ole Merer, Georg Göring and Anton Tomic, and remained in total only about seven minutes in the ring [1] . In September of the same year, he became 9th in the junior world championship (U-16) in Kiev , after defeating Angel Angelov from Bulgaria, he was defeated in the second fight against Belarusian boxer Maxim Kozlov (as a result of winning the silver medal of the championship) [2 ] .

In April 2014 at the 4th World Boxing Championship for Youth in Sofia ( Bulgaria ) won the silver medal: after victories over Shokhruhbek Erkinov from Uzbekistan , Evanders Servuts from Lithuania and Marat Kerimkhanov from Russia, he lost only in the final to American Darmani Rock [3] .

In August 2014 he became the Olympic champion participating in the 2- year Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing ( China ). Then, in the semifinals, he won the former European cadet champion Mahammadali Tahirov from Azerbaijan by technical knockout, and the American Darmani Roka won the final on points (3: 0).

In October 2014, Peter also became a champion at the European Youth Championships in Zagreb , beating Evanders Servuts from Lithuania (3: 0), Daniel Dubois from England (2: 1), Mukhamedali Tairov from Azerbaijan (3: 0) and Marat Kerimkhanov from Russia (3: 0) [5] .

In 2015, he became a heavyweight champion at the German Youth Championship in Hamburg . There, in the final, he defeated Leon Havanas ahead of schedule [6] . Then in the quarterfinals he defeated Shane Lewis from Wales ahead of schedule, Georgy Zurabiani from Georgia defeated ahead of schedule in the semifinals, and in the final his Turkish opponent Sedat Yildiz did not fight, making Kadir the winner [7] .

In November 2015, the championship was re-conquered at the European Youth Championship in Kołobrzeg ( Poland ). There, Kadir was defeated by Bosnian Dasho Simeunovich (3: 0), Lithuanian Deividas Cernas (3: 0), Pole Kamil Mrochkovsky (3: 0) and Russian Valery Topuzian (3: 0) [8] .

In March 2017, he became the winner of the European Cadet Championship (U-22) in Braila ( Romania ), beating Vitaly Pokulyak from Ukraine , Jamily-Dini Abudu from France and in the final of Alexander Mraovich from Austria [9] .

In June 2017 , at the 2017 European Championships in Kharkov, Kharkov, Kadiru acted unsuccessfully, having defeated (5: 0) Scotsman Mitchell Barton [10] in the first round, but then lost (1: 4) to Dane Kem Yungqvist ) in the second round - which in turn, in the quarterfinals, lost to Englishman Fraser Clarke (who eventually won the silver of the championship) [11] .
