Ilan Laufer ( Heb. אילן לאופר , roman. Ilan Laufer ) is a Romanian politician. He served as Minister of Business, Trade and Entrepreneurship from June 29, 2017 to January 29, 2018 in the government of Mihai Tudos [1] .

According to his public statement on November 20, 2018, Ilan Laufer was born in Bucharest to Romanian parents. According to The Jerusalem Post , he was born in Israel in Rishon Lezion . [2] [3] [4] Due to disagreements, Laufer published his birth certificate stating that he was born in Bucharest. He graduated from the National Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.
At an early age, in the end of the 90s, he returned to Rymynia with his parents. Married a participant in a reality show.
He served in the Romanian government as an adviser to the Department for Small and Medium Enterprises, Business Environment and Tourism between 2013 and 2014, including the post of deputy minister in Pont’s office, his former boss Florin Jiang, who left the government of Grindyan because of political scandal over amendments to the Criminal Code.
