Biography

Entered the service in 1878 after graduating from the Vladikavkaz military gymnasium. Since 1883, after graduating from the Tiflis Military School, he was promoted to lieutenant and released into the Pyatigorsk 151st Infantry Regiment .

From 1884 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1888 to lieutenant , in 1889 to captain , to 1900 to captain. Since 1904, the participant of the Russian-Japanese war . For bravery in this company was awarded the Order of St. Anne 3rd degree with swords and bow and the 4th degree "For Bravery", St. Stanislav 2nd degree with swords and St. Vladimir 4th degree with swords and bow. In 1907 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel , in 1910 to colonel .

In 1914 he was appointed commander of the 179th Ust-Dvinsk Infantry Regiment , and from 1914 together with his regiment he participated in the First World War . March 9, 1915 "for courage" was awarded the St. George's Weapon :

 For the fact that in the battle of August 26, 1914 for taking possession of a fortified position at an altitude of 110, west of the village of Bystritsa, was a rare example of courage and selflessness and with a regiment entrusted to him with bayonets he took the first line of trenches and the fortified grove edge that south of the forest near the village Ludvinov, which ensured the success of the night attack from August 26 to August 27; the next day, with bayonets, he took the trenches of the left flank of the fortified enemy position at a height of 110, which completed the success of the entire operation 

On April 17, 1915, “for courage” was awarded the Order of St. George of the 4th degree.

Since 1915, the commander of the 413rd Porkhov Infantry Regiment . November 27, 1915 "for the difference" was promoted to major general , from 1916 he was appointed commander of the brigade of the 69th Infantry Division . From 1917 he was appointed commander of the 2nd Caucasian Grenadier Division . October 21, 1917 dismissed for retirement on the application.

According to the metric book of the Nikolaev Garrison Church: tortured in an emergency room, the date of death was 07/20/1919, the date of burial was 06/09/1919, was buried at the Nikolaevskoye military cemetery [State. archive of the Nikolaev area, F. 484, op. 1, d. 1620].
