The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , near the administrative border with the Voronezh region , at a distance of about 9 kilometers (in a straight line) east of the urban-type village of Gorshechnoye , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 235 meters above sea level [2] .
