The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the south-western part of the Central Russian Upland , on the right bank of the Olym River, at a distance of about 11 kilometers (straight) north-west from the urban-type settlement Gorshechnoe , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 187 meters above sea level [2] .
