Biography

Since 1939, he studied vocals with Helena Oleska and Adam Didur at the Lviv Conservatory , and at the same time, until 1941, worked on the Lviv Radio. Since 1945 - soloist of the Opera House in Bytom , where he was invited by his teacher Didura. Since the early 1950s, he has been performing concerts in Polish cities, as well as touring in Europe (he performed in the USSR in 1951). Since 1957 - soloist of the Wielka Theater in Warsaw. He performed both classical and Polish repertoire, including in modern operas. He took part in the performance of cantatas and an oratorio, for example, “Passion for the Luke” by Penderetsky (1st performer, 1966, Munster). He acted as a chamber singer. He taught vocals at the Cracow Academy of Music .
