The height of the monument is 15 m. The main idea of ββthe monument is the unity of the front and the rear. It is a multi-figure high relief composition depicting the Red Army and militia workers who defended Moscow in the fall of 1941 [1] . The figures of the warriors do not play a key role in the composition of the monument, but are subordinate to the dominant design. They are placed on the symbolic banner of Victory - stylized planes superimposed on each other. The design has a trapezoidal base, symbolizing the flagpole [3] , with a relief inscription " 1941-1945 ". On the back of the monument there is an inscription: βThe feat of the proletarians who fell for the freedom and independence of the Motherland will forever be remembered. Eternal glory to the heroes! " [2] .
The sculptural composition is made of forged copper sheet on a steel frame. The monument rests on a stepped base of polished granite . Behind the monument begins the boulevard of Avtozavodskaya street [4] .
