At the beginning of his career, he played for the class “B” team “Tekstilshchik” / “Dynamo” Kirovabad (1961-1962). In 1963-1971, Baku played 200 matches in the USSR Championship as part of Neftyanik / Neftchi .
Bronze medalist of 1966 .
He played with his older brother Adil .
After the completion of his playing career, he worked as a director on the basis of Neftchi, then with the children’s teams and at the Academy of Physical Culture and Sports (since 2005). [one]
