Viktor G. Shelepov (born March 28, 1956 , Novoaltaysk , Altai Territory ) is a Russian scientist in the field of veterinary medicine and reindeer herding, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1996), and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2014).

Biography
He graduated from the Altai Agricultural Institute (1979) and until 1980 worked there as an assistant at the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary Sanitary Examination.
- 1980–2000 Senior Researcher, Central N.-i. Antler reindeer husbandry laboratories (1980-1984), junior research fellow (1984-1988), senior research fellow (1988-1990), deputy director for research (1990-1993), director (1993-2000) of the Research Institute of Agriculture of the Far North.
- 2001-2002 Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine of Siberia and the Far East.
- 2002—2016 Head of the Department of Livestock, Veterinary and Problems of the Far North of the Presidium of the SB RAS.
- Since 2016 - Head of the Laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science "Siberian Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology" RAS.
Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1994), corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1996), corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2014).
The author of a new technology for the preparation of antlers and their processing into biologically active substances and medicines.
He has published over 200 scientific papers, including 14 monographs. Received 10 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
He was awarded medals of the Russian Federation, gold and silver medals of VDNH (1988).
