Raiskuma volos [3] ( Latvian Raiskuma pagasts ) [4] [3] is an administrative-territorial unit occupying the eastern part of the Pargauja region of Latvia . It borders with the Stalbskaya and Straupsky volosts of its region, the Vaidavsky volost of the Kocensky region , the Priekulsky and Liepsky volosts of the Priekulsky region , the Drabesh volost of the Amatsky region , and also the city of Cesis, Cesis region [5] [6] . The administrative center of the volost is the village of Raiskums [7] .

Geography
The territory of the volost occupies 17,432 hectares [1] , located in the Gauja ancient valley and Augstroz hills of the Idomean Upland . The highest point is Laubes Hill (92.6 m) [7] .
Lakes: Auciema , Drishkins , Lielais-Bauzis , Mazais-Bauzis , Raiskuma and others [8] .
History
In 1935, the area of the volost was 52 km² [7] , and the population was 751 people (363 men and 388 women) [3] .
In 2009, during the disbandment of the Cesis district , the parish became part of the Pargau region [4] .
