Biography
He went from a novice employee to the head of the Eighth Main Directorate of the KGB of the USSR (August 1971 - August 1975), was involved in the organization and provision of government communications. I stood at the origins of the encryption and decryption service. During the Great Patriotic War, he was engaged in interception and decryption of radio communications of the enemy, provided the Soviet command with valuable information, including the day before and during the offensive operation on the Kursk Bulge .
