St. Petersburg Street ( Georgian სანქტ-პეტერბურგის ქუჩა ) is a short (about 300 m) dead-end street in Tbilisi, in the Chugureti area [1] , runs parallel to Konstantin Mardzhanishvili street from David Agmashenebeli Avenue to the Kura River .

Content
History
The modern name is given for the city of St. Petersburg .
Even at the turn of the XIX — XX centuries, gardens were located on the site of the street district [2] [3] . The territory began to be intensively built up after the construction of the Verii Bridge (1883, now the Galaktion Tabidze Bridge ) in the spirit of the eclectic style that prevailed in those years.
At the beginning of the twentieth century - a small lane [4]
In Soviet times, the street was called Leningradskaya.

The street is a single architectural ensemble of cultural value [5] , the conservation and restoration problems of which are alarming for specialists and the public [6]
