Biography
Born November 12, 1937 in the city of Krivoy Rog in a working class family. Ukrainian .
In 1955-1958 he was a cadet at the Moscow Border College . In 1958-1960 he served in the Azerbaijan border district. Member of the CPSU since 1958. In 1970 he graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute with a degree in civil engineering.
- In 1960-1962, he was the head of the department, assistant to the head, master of construction management No. 16 of the Krivorozhseverrudstroy trust in Krivoy Rog.
- In 1962-1965 - instructor of the Zhovtnevy district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in Krivoy Rog; Head of the repair and construction workshop of the Central Mining and Processing Plant .
- In 1965 - Director of the concrete plant of the Krivorozhaglostroy trust.
- In 1966-1970 he was the head of the construction department No. 3 of the Krivorozhseverrudstroy trust.
- In 1970-1971 he was the deputy manager, in 1971-1975 he was the manager of the Krivbasrudstroy trust.
- In 1975-1978, he was the chief engineer of the Dnipropetrovsk association Oblagrostroy.
- In 1978-1986 - Head of the Main Planning and Economic Department, Deputy, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ukrmezhkolkhozstroy.
- In 1986-1991 - First Deputy Chairman of the Republican Cooperative-State Association for Agro-Industrial Construction.
- In 1991-1994, he was chairman of the board of the corporation Ukragropromstroy.
- From June to September 1994 - Head of the Department of Defense and Military-Mobilization Work.
- From September 1994 to August 1996 - Head of the Main Directorate for Defense of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Participant in the aftermath of the Chernobyl accident and the earthquake in Armenia. Member of the Council of the Security Service of Ukraine.
He was nominated as a candidate for People’s Deputies by the plenum of the Kivertsy trade union of agricultural workers, the joint meeting of construction organizations of the Kivertsy region and the labor collective of the Rozhischensky district agro-construction. March 18, 1990 was elected to the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR in the Kivertsy constituency No. 46 of the Volyn region . Extra-fractional. He was a member, first deputy, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commission on Defense and State Security.
In March 1994 - candidate for People’s Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 2nd convocation in Kivertsy constituency No. 71 of the Volyn region. In the first round, he scored 5.91% of the vote, taking 6th place out of 14 applicants.
He died on June 13, 2003 in Kiev, where he was buried in section No. 49b of the Baykovoye cemetery .
