Tripod boiler Gefujia (戈 父 甲 甗)

Tripod boiler Yan ( Chinese 甗 ; pinyin : yǎn) - in ancient China, it was used for steaming, as well as for ritual purposes . Consisted of two parts. The lower part, in the form of a Lee tripod , was used to heat water. In the upper part, in the form of a cauldron of Zeng , with a wide open throat, they prepared food. Between the two parts was a grate through which steam passed, and which did not allow food to fall into the lower vessel. The tripod boiler Yan could be decorated with ornaments, and on the inner surface of the upper part there could be jinven inscriptions.
