Aminov, Tim

Timur was born on December 13, 1988 in Moscow . Father David Isakovich Aminov - a lawyer, mother Irina Nikolaevna Aminova - a teacher of chemistry. At the age of 13 he started playing the piano and guitar, as well as studying sound recording and electronic music. At the age of 17, he entered the sound engineering department of the Humanitarian Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting , which he graduated in 2011 ^[1] .

In 2011, Aminov released his first mini-album, Lost Withot You, on Electronica Records ^[2] . Then he began to play in the Moscow clubs Gazgolder , Rodnya and Solyanka. From 2011 to 2017, Tim Aminov is a resident of the Vienna Techno Ball ^[1] .

In 2012, with the participation of vocalist Galina Dobrodeeva (Gala Ga) creates a musical project Aanbreken ^[3] . In May 2014, the band participates in the Bass Camp ^{[4] [5]} . In November 2014, the group was named by the organizers of the Golden Gargoyle award as the best electronic project of the year ^[6] . In December 2014, the mini-album “Verge” was released on the German label Ki Records ^{[5] [7] [8]} . In 2015, due to disagreements, Aanbreken ceased to exist ^[1] .

After that, Tim Aminov focused on his solo career. In 2016, his first solo album, Moments, was released on the Berlin-based ^{[9] [10] [11]} . The title track was "One Lone Survivor", which was filmed by Lado Quatania ^{[12] [13]} . The video was the winner at the Young Director Award in Cannes ^[14] and the short film festival in Ravenna ^[15] .

In April 2018, a new mini-album, Orpheus, was released. The release consisted of two tracks “Orpheus” and “Eurydice” ^{[16] [17] [18]} . A Canadian singer Cedric Gasaida, known for the project ^[19] , participated in the EP recording. On this release, a short film was shot, directed by Lado Kvatania. The video was shot on two songs “Orpheus” and “Eurydice” ^{[20] [21]} . The leading roles in the clip were played by actors Svetlana Ustinova and Peter Skvortsov ^{[22] [23] [24]} . The video became the winner of the London Short Series Festival ^[25] .

In October 2018, Timur releases the single "Veneno" ^{[26] [27]} . In support of the track “Veneno” in November 2018, a clip was shot by Latvian director Andrzej Gavrish . The video was filmed on the Philippine island of Siargao ^{[28] [29]} .
