Creation History
A flight attendant named Jeanne is a real person working on flights with Moscow Airways. Zhanna Konstantinovskaya is exactly the stewardess about whom the famous song is composed.
Once a young musician Volodya Presnyakov flew on tour and, seeing an employee of the airline, involuntarily composed: "The flight attendant named Zhanna is adored and desired." Then the poet I. Reznik developed this topic. When others drew Jeanne's attention to a new original musical composition, she let it pass by, thinking that she was joking, but then she accidentally heard a song. “Wow, I think the song is about me. How cute! ” [1]
According to the outline of Presnyakov, the poet Reznik wrote the words in a day. Vladimir believed that he would get a lyrical composition, but a composition came out in combination with rock and roll. On this song, the authors were unable to make money, pirated copies scattered across the country instantly. Various vocalists still sing about Jeanne [2] .
The album “Castle from the Rain”, which was born in 1994, was a huge success: the songs of the Stewardess named Jeanne, Girlfriend Masha won the hearts of fans and became hits [3] .
