Geography and Transportation
Shubino village is located 38 km north-west of the city of Kimry , 46 km from the Savyolovo railway station , and 176 km from the MKAD .
The village is surrounded by an array of small-leaved and coniferous forests. The soil in the village for the most part belongs to sandy loam , in many places there are significant deposits of peat . To the northeast of the village there is the Bityukovsky swamp.
The nearest settlements are Pechetovo , Yaroslavets , Ilino and Bereslovlevo villages .
History
The village of Shubino first appears on the map of the Tver province A. Mende 1853
In the middle of the XIX century in the village there were two factory production.
In 1931, the village Shubino became part of the Kimry district , which is part of the Moscow region . In 1935 the village became part of the newly formed Kalinin region .
Since the early 90s. the village was part of Pechetovsky rural district (liquidated in 2006).
In 2006, the village of Shubino became part of the newly-formed Pechetovsky rural settlement .
