Viktor Stepanovich Zima (born December 23, 1940 , Blagoveshchensk , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Russian musician , trombonist , and music teacher . Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation (2002).

Biography
Born December 23, 1940 in the city of Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region .
In 1957 he graduated from the School of military pupils of the city of Blagoveshchensk in the class of baritone . He served in the orchestra of the Ussuriisk Suvorov Military School .
Externally passed the course of the Gnesins' Music College (1964).
In 1969 he graduated with honors from the Gnesins State Music and Pedagogical Institute ( trombone class of Professor K. M. Ladilov ) (1969).
From 1969 to 1971 he worked in the Moscow Circus Orchestra on Tsvetnoy Boulevard . From 1971 to 1987 - in the orchestra of the Big Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue .
Since 1987 - a teacher (since 2002 - the highest category) of the tenor , trombone and tuba class at the M. I. Tabakov Children's Music School , in the department of brass and percussion instruments . He prepared a large number of laureates of various music competitions and festivals.
The honorary titles are “ Veteran of Labor ” (1999) and “ Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation ” (2002) [1] [2] .
