Content
Club career
Hadziteodoridis studied at the Greek branch of the London Arsenal Academy from the age of twelve, while playing for the local club Mas Kaliteakos. In 2014, he went to watch in England and showed himself well in the games for the club’s youth in demonstration matches with the youth of other leading European clubs. In June of that year, the 17-year-old Ilias signed a two-year contract with the Londoners [1] .
For two years, Hadziteodoridis has played for Arsenal's youth teams in the Professional Development League and the UEFA Youth League . In total, he spent 44 matches and scored one goal. At the same time, Ilias failed to convince the management of the English club to conclude a professional contract with him and in the summer of 2016 he threw Arsenal [2] . Despite the interest in Greek clubs from him, Hadziteodoridis decided to pursue a career in England and went through a viewing with the Brentford club reservists, after which on August 6, 2016 he signed a one-year contract with him [3] . The whole season 2016/2017, Ilias played for the reserve team and was only once included in the application for the match of the first team, but remained in reserve. Nevertheless, on March 2, 2017, he signed a new contract with the club for two years [4] .
In the first half of the 2017/2018 season, Hadziteodoridis began to appear more often in the first team. On August 8, 2017, he spent the first professional match of his career, starting in the starting lineup for a game with Wimbledon in the Football League Cup [5] . That season, Ilias played three more times in cup matches for Brentford, but in the Championship he never managed to play. On January 19, 2018, Hajiteodoridis was leased to the Cheltenham Town Club from League Two before the end of the season. There he was the main player and spent 18 matches, leaving the starting lineup. In July 2018, Elias left Brentford ahead of schedule as a free agent and returned to his homeland [6] .
July 24, 2018 Hadziteodoridis signed a three-year contract with the Greek " Panathinaikos " [7] . September 16, 2018 Ilias made his debut in the championship of Greece, coming on as a substitute in the match with Larisa . He entered the next match with Levadiakos in the starting lineup and marked the first goal in his career. His goal, scored by a long-range shot in the match against Panionios on October 20, became a victory for his team [8] .
Team appearances
In October 2018, Hadziteodoridis was invited to the youth team of Greece for the matches of the qualifying tournament for the European Championship with the teams of Croatia and Belarus . He spent both matches in reserve.
