Club career
A graduate of the football academies of the clubs “SV Hohenlinden”, “TSV Ebersberg” and “ Munich 1860 ”. At the age of 17, he joined FC Falke Markt Schwaben, who played in Landeslig, where he was involved as a striker. In the 2010/2011 season, already as part of Ismaning , he became the champion of the Bavarian League , making his contribution in the form of 19 goals scored. At the end of the season he accepted the proposal to move from the representative of the third Bundesliga Unterhaching , where he immediately became a player of the main squad; also took part in two games of his new club in the German Cup against Freiburg and Bochum . In early January 2013 he moved to Heidenheim , with which he won first place in the third league in the 2013/14 season. By the beginning of the 2015/16 season, Niederlechner signed the first Bundesliga club Mainz 05 , and already in January 2016 the player on a loan joined Freiburg, who played in the second strongest German division, with whom he won the championship and advanced to the first league. In early May 2017, he signed a full-fledged contract with the club.
Niederlechner owns a kind of “record”: on November 19, 2016, already at the 8th second of the match against Mainz , he earned the fastest yellow card in the history of the Bundesliga .
