Tripod-Lee "Binh" (濒 鬲)
Tripod Li ( Chinese 鬲 ; pinyin : lì) - in ancient China, a boiler on three legs. Originally made from clay and used for cooking food. Later, during the Shang dynasty , it was cast from bronze and could serve as a ritual utensil to offer food to the spirits of their ancestors. It resembles a tripod Dean in shape, but has hollow legs. Like the Ding tripod, it could be decorated with Jinwen ornaments and inscriptions. In the era of the Warring States it is gradually becoming obsolete.
