The cognitive magazine “Up” fosters patriotism and love for the Fatherland, develops interest in the history of Russia, Orthodox culture and traditions of the people, broadens one’s horizons and forms a love for nature, active activity and striving for spiritual growth [6] . It has the signature stamp of the Synodal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate on the interaction of the Church with society and the media "Approved by the Synodal Information Department of the Russian Orthodox Church " (certificate No. 75 of 03/23/2011) [7] [8] .
The Up Magazine helps a teenager reflect on pressing social issues, resist the influx of alien values, permissiveness, and a cynical attitude to life.
