49A-04 is a public highway of regional importance in the Novgorod region, with a beginning in Veliky Novgorod and ending on the border of the Novgorod and Leningrad regions (the border of the Batetsk and Luga regions). At the border of the regions, the highway joins the 41K-141 highway leading to the city of Luga. Together with her, they connect two federal roads: M10 "Russia" and R-23 "Pskov" , and are also part of the promising road route Ust-Luga - Veliky Novgorod - Moscow . Earlier, in some sources, these two roads were referred to as the single P47 highway Veliky Novgorod - Luga. This name does not currently exist [1] .
