Club career
Cassata is a pupil of Empoli and Juventus clubs. In 2016, he was included in the application of the main team of the latter. In the summer of the same year, Kassata was leased to Ascoli to receive game practice. On August 27, in his match against Pro Vercelli , he made his debut in the Italian Serie B [2] . In the same match, Francesco scored his first goal for Ascoli. In the summer of 2017, Kassata moved to Sassuolo . The transfer amount was 7 million euros. On October 22, in a match against SPAL, he made his debut in the Italian Serie A [3] . On April 4, 2018, Francesco scored his first goal for Sassuolo in a duel against Chievo [4] .

International Career
In 2016, as part of the youth national team of Italy, Kassata became the silver medalist of the European Youth Championship in Germany . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of France [6] , Germany [7] , Austria [8] and Portugal [9] .
In 2017, Kassata, as part of the Italian youth team, became the bronze medalist of the Youth World Championships in South Korea . At the tournament, he played in matches against teams of South Africa [10] , Japan [11] , Zambia [12] and Uruguay [13] .
