Description
Underside of the wings
The front wings with two relatively long, wide stripes, combined in the base; a cage with a very broad, somewhat club-shaped stripe, crossed by two beautiful black lines; main spots in intervals of 2 and 3; two rows of bands curved inward opposite the top of the wing, the last of which extends along the apical half of the bone; the limit series in interval pairs contains much less spots.
Spread
Subspecies Parantica aglea are common in Sri Lanka , also in the north of the Western Ghats in Pune and Niligiri.
