General information

The stopping point is located on the Seltso - Rzhanitsa stretch . It has one direct passenger landing platform located on the south-west side of the railroad track. The platform is equipped with ramps, lighting, railings. There is an indoor brick passenger pavilion (mini-station) with a ticket office. Near the southern end of the platform, a pedestrian crossing through the railway is equipped. At ≈1400 meters southeast of the stopping point, there is a railway crossing on the road connecting parts of the village of Pervomaisky located on both sides of the railway. [8] [9]

On the railway line, at a distance of about 1,100 meters northwest of the platform, there is a bridge over the Seriza River. [ten]

In the vicinity of the platform there are thickets of valuable medicinal plants pulmonary gentian (Gentiana pneumonanthe L.) and upright bloodroot (Potentilla erecta (L.) Raeusch). [eleven]

History

The section from Orel to Roslavl through Bryansk was originally designed as part of the Oryol-Vitebsk railway ; It was commissioned in November 1868. In 1908, on a single-track stretch of this section between Seltso and Rzhanitsa stations, an additional separate point was built - the Chernetovo junction, of the same name with a village located about 5 km south of it . [12] [1]

On August 19, 1941, at the Chernetovo junction (which at that time belonged to the Moscow-Kiev Railway ), there was a derailment with a falling armored car tire on its side. According to the official version of the NKVD of the USSR , the switchman Prudnikov was guilty of this incident, who “cut the arrow before the passage of the armored automobile tire” and “escaped after the accident”. [13]

From October 13, 1941 to September 18, 1943 - under German occupation. During the occupation, traffic on the railway between Roslavl and Bryansk was quite intense. In order to protect the road from the Soviet partisans, fortified barracks were erected along it at a distance of about one kilometer from each other, in which German soldiers performing guard service were located around the clock. On the stretch between Seltso and Chernetovo, there were six such fortified checkpoints. Despite the presence of guards, partisans and underground members managed to blow up a railway bridge over the Seriza River at the end of October 1941, and in June 1942, an armored train was derailed on the Selzo-Chernetovo stretch. [14] [15] [16] [17]

In 1966, Chernetovo was electrified with alternating current voltage of 25 kV as part of the Bryansk - Zhukovka section, regular movement of suburban electric trains was organized between Bryansk and Zhukovka. [2]

In the late 1970s, the track development in Chernetovo was dismantled, the crossing received the status of a stopping point. [6] [7]

Passenger service

On the Chernetovo platform, all suburban electric trains running on the Zhukovka-Bryansk section have a stop. Long-distance trains and an accelerated commuter train with independent traction between Bryansk and Roslavl in Chernetovo have no stops. The average travel time from the Chernetovo platform to the Bryansk-Orlovsky station is 50 minutes; to the station Zhukovka - 35 minutes. [3]
