Biography

Born in s. Pyatkyevka Berdshadsky district of Vinnitsa region . He graduated from the Odessa Technological Institute of Food and Refrigeration Industry (1960).

  • 1960-1969 mechanical engineer, shop manager, chief mechanic, chief engineer Melitopol cannery.
  • 1969-1975 Deputy Head, Head of the Production and Technical Department, Chief Engineer-Deputy Head of the General Directorate of the canning, vegetable-drying and food concentrates industry of the Ministry of Food Industry of the Ukrainian SSR.
  • 1975–2010 Director of the All-Russia Research Institute of the Canning and Vegetable-Drying Industry.

Doctor of Technical Sciences (2003), Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2005).

He is the author of technological and engineering developments in the field of heat and mass transfer studies in the extraction of plant materials.

Honored Worker of the Food Industry of the Russian Federation (1997). He was awarded the medal "For Services to the Fatherland" II degree (2006), medals "Veteran of Labor" (1986), "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow" (1997).

He received 20 copyright certificates and 415 patents for inventions.
