Ilya Nikolaevich Bronstein (1903-1976 [1] ) - Soviet mathematician and historian of mathematics . Co-author of the world-famous " Handbook of Mathematics for Engineers and Students of Technical Universities ", published so far and translated into many world languages. Since 1939 he taught at the Department of Higher Mathematics of Moscow State Engineering University (MAMI) [2] , as well as at the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute. N.E. Zhukovsky .
