Political persecution of Maidan participants by the government
- Repressions against entrepreneurs who advocated the abolition of the Tax Code did not become a sensation for anyone. In the actions of the authorities, one can trace several characteristic nuances: law enforcement agencies are not “interested” in the leaders of the movement, but ordinary participants, reacting after the Maidan has been completed. The ruling party of the regions chose the scare tactics to discourage people from going to the Maidan in an attempt to defend their constitutional rights. The “invention” of the Ukrainian government is that it uses “partisan” methods, which, of course, greatly complicates the struggle of entrepreneurs for their rights. [41]

- Three people were detained on charges of intentionally destroying property on an especially large scale [43] They are accused of damaging paving slabs during the installation of tents on the Maidan.
