Scientific Interests and Achievements

Field of activity: plastic deformation, defects in the crystal structure, graphene , technology of elastic deformations, molecular dynamics , nanomaterials, bulk carbon materials, diamond-like structures, mechanical properties, auxetics .

With the participation of Yu. A. Baimova [2]

  • a series of works was carried out devoted to the study of the structure and properties of graphene and nanomaterials based on it, as well as the development of methods for controlling their properties through external influences;
  • studied a wide range of quasi-two-dimensional and three-dimensional nanomaterials based on graphene, found their stable configurations, analyzed the change in properties under the influence of temperature and deformations;
  • A model has been developed for calculating the thermal conductivity of two-dimensional and quasi-two-dimensional carbon nanomaterials;
  • The technique of controlling the properties of graphene and materials based on it by applying elastic / inelastic deformation is developed.
