Functions
CD200 is a type 1 membrane protein, contains two immunoglobulin domains. Co-stimulator of T-lymphocyte proliferation . It possibly regulates the activity of myeloid cells and delivers an inhibitory signal to macrophage cells in various tissues.
Structure
CD200 includes 278 amino acids , a molecular weight of 31.2 kDa. Contains one transmembram fragment. The extracellular domain contains two immunoglobulin domains of V - and C2 type. Alternative splicing leads to the formation of several protein isoforms [2] .
