Career
As a footballer, Cosmi played at the amateur level. He combined the game with the work of a teacher at school. He began his coaching career at the age of 29. Gradually, he managed to go through all the lower echelons of Italian football and in 2000 Cosmi headed Perugia . During their work in Serie A , the griffins won in the Intertoto Cup , and Cosmi prepared for the Italian national team Marco Materazzi , Fabio Grosso , Fabrizio Miccoli and Fabio Liverani .
He then worked with other elite teams, but less successfully. In the 2011/12 season, Cosmi accepted the main outsider of the Lecce tournament and almost saved him from relegation [1] . In 2013, the specialist was considered as candidates for the post of mentor of the Brazilian Santos [2] .
On March 5, 2019, he was appointed head coach of the Venice B series club [3] .
