Cao Zhang ( Chinese trad. 曹彰 ,? - 223 ), the adult name Zven ( Chinese trad. 子 文 ) is the second son of Cao Cao from Ms. Bian.

Biography
Cao Zhang married the daughter of Sun Jiang's nephew - Sun Ben in 1986. In 216, he received the title of Hou . A capable commander, in 218 he fought in the north against the Wuhan and defeated them. In 219, Cao Cao, returning east after the loss of Hanzhong and preparing to repulse the attack of Guan Yu , entrusted Zhang with the defense of Chang'an . When Cao Cao died in 220, there was some confusion in the process of inheritance, but in the end, Cao Pei inherited the position of his father. Cao Zhang and the rest of his brothers were removed to their estates. In 221, he became a guna , and in 222, a van . But the very next year he died while visiting the imperial court in the capital [1] .
