Geographical position
Guadeloupe de Atlas is located in the northeast of the state, approximately 42 kilometers northeast of the city of Aguascalientes . The absolute height is 2023 meters above sea level [1] .
Population
According to data obtained during the official census of 2005, 1838 people (913 men and 925 women) lived in the village. There were 367 households. According to the age range, the population was distributed as follows: 44.5% - residents under 18 years old, 50% - between 18 and 59 years old and 5.5% - aged 60 years and older. The literacy rate among residents over 15 years old was 96.8% [2] .
