Konstantin Vyacheslavovich Vorontsov (born April 1, 1971 ) is a Russian scientist- mathematician , doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor of the Department of Intelligent Systems of the FUPM MIPT , professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2016).

Biography
Born in 1971.
He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) with a degree in Mathematics and Engineering (1994) and graduate school of the Computing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1997). In 1999 he defended his thesis “Local bases in the algebraic approach to the recognition problem”.
- 1993-1997 software engineer at the Information and Advisory Toxicology Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (ICTTZ Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation).
- 1997-2001 expert at the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange .
- From 2001 to the present: Researcher, Senior Researcher, Computing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Since 2015, the Computing Center has been part of the FIC IU RAS - Federal Research Center "Informatics and Management" based on the IPI RAS .
- From 2001 to the present: Deputy Scientific Director of Forexis.
- From 2004 to the present: Associate Professor, Deputy Head (until 2013), Professor (since 2013), Department of Intelligent Systems, Department of Management and Applied Mathematics (FUPM), MIPT .
- Since 2007 Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Methods of Prediction, Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (VMK), Moscow State University .
- since 2011 professor at the Higher School of Economics (HSE).
Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences. The topic of the doctoral dissertation: “The Combinatorial Theory of Reliability of Learning on Precedents ”, specialty 05.13.17 “Theoretical Foundations of Informatics”, was defended at the Computing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2010).

In 2016, he received the honorary academic title of Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
He was awarded the RAS Medal with a prize for young scientists for winning the competition dedicated to the 275th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, for collaboration with E. V. Naryzhny, “Expert and Algebraic Methods of Building Artificial Intelligence Systems” (1999).
He is a member of the Council on Science and Technology at the State Duma Committee on Science and High Technology.
