Michal Sikora ( czech. Michal Sýkora , born July 5, 1973 in Pardubice ) - Czech hockey player , defender , world champion in 1996 and 2000 . The older brother of the famous Czech hockey player, striker Peter Sikora .

Biography
Michal Sikora began his career at the Pardubice Czechoslovak First League club . Having spent only 2 matches for his native club, he moved overseas, where he played for clubs for seven years. Returning to Europe, 2 years played in Prague "Sparta" . In 2000, he left again to play in the NHL , in the team "Philadelphia Flyers". In 2001 he finally returned to the Czech Republic, in Pardubice. At the beginning of the 2004/05 season was injured and decided to end his career at the age of 32 years. After finishing his playing career he became a businessman. He was engaged in real estate, winemaking, now the head of a company engaged in precious metals and jewelry [1] .
