Biography

Makasheva Raisa (Rapiya) was born on November 17, 1920 in the village of Kokterek, Zhambyl region, in a family of poor peasants. In 1938, she entered the medical faculty of the Almaty State Medical Institute . After graduating from the ASMI in 1942, she voluntarily went to the front of the Second World War and until March 1946 she was in the ranks of the Soviet Army. She worked in the military field and evacuation hospitals of the Volkhov, 3rd Baltic and 1st Belorussian fronts as an intern, then head of the department. Having been demobilized, from 1946 to 1952 she worked as a junior researcher at the Research Institute of Regional Pathology of the Ministry of Health of the Kazakh SSR, where she graduated from graduate school in 1951, and in 1952 she defended the dissertation of a candidate of medical sciences. From 1952 to 1988, she worked at the Department of Dermatovenereology of the Almaty State Medical Institute, held the positions of assistant, associate professor, professor, and since 1970 head of the department. At the same time in 1978-1981 she was the director of the Research Institute of Skin and Venereal Diseases . She was the chairman of the Kazakh Scientific-Medical Society of Dermatovenerologists (1970-1988), the chief freelance dermatovenerologist of the Ministry of Health of the Kaakh SSR, the chairman of the problem commission for dermatovenerology of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, a member of the All-Union Society of Dermatovenerologists, the journal of the journal “Herald of Dermatology and Venereology of Kazakhstan” and “Health of Venereology of Kazakhstan” and " [1] .

Over the years, Mukasheva published 169 scientific papers on various problems of dermatovenereology and published 2 monographs. The training of scientific personnel was carried out: graduate students, trainees, job seekers, under her leadership 8 candidate works were defended.
