Biography
Born in Moscow in 1948.
In 1971 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Moscow Aviation Institute named after S. Ordzhonikidze with honors.
In the period from 1971 to 1994 held various positions at the Central Institute of Aircraft Engine Engineering. P.I. Baranova , as well as in the International Fund "Reform".
In 1977 she defended her thesis (candidate of technical sciences).
In 1993, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Methodology of a feasibility study, financing and stimulating the creation of new and improving serial aviation technology (using aircraft engines as an example)" (Doctor of Economics).
Methodological developments and software products created by I. A. Nikonova are still actively used in aircraft engine building, civil and military aviation in predicting the economic parameters of new equipment, modernization (in terms of increasing resource and reliability) of serial equipment, and a feasibility study for new samples of aircraft.
