History
In the 1871 List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire (according to 1868–1869), the settlement is mentioned as a treasury village in the Ishim district of the Tobolsk province , near the Kiterna river, located 72 miles from the district center of the city of Ishim . There were 47 yards in the village and 322 people lived (160 men and 162 women) [2] .
In 1926, there were 118 households in the village and 502 people lived (239 men and 263 women). Administratively, Sysoyeva was part of the Rechkunovsky village council of the Abat district of the Ishim district of the Ural region [3] .
Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Tyumen region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the Ishim plain , on the banks of the Kiternya river (a tributary of Ishim ), at a distance of about 13 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-north-west (WNW) from the village of Abatskoe , administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 79 meters above sea level [4] .
