Richard емemlička ( Czech. Richard Žemlička , born April 13, 1964 , Prague ) is a former Czech hockey player who is forward. Bronze medalist of the 1992 Olympic Games. Now he is an assistant to the head coach of the Czech national team (under 16 years old).

Biography
Richard Zhemlychka began his hockey career in 1985, as part of the Prague “ Slavia ”. A year later, he moved to another Prague club “ Sparta ”, in which he spent the best years of his career. In 1990, he became the champion of Czechoslovakia, and in 2000 and 2002 he won the Czech championship. Zhemlychka has long been the top scorer in the history of Prague Sparta (565 points in 634 matches), now this achievement belongs to Yaroslav Glinka . October 21, 2008 a sweater with the seventh number, under which Zhemlychka played for Sparta, was raised under the arch of the Prague Club arena [1] .
From 1988 to 1997 he played for the national team. As part of the Czechoslovak team, he became the bronze medalist of the 1992 Olympic Games and the 1993 World Cup, and as part of the Czech team he won twice the bronze of the World Championships (in 1993 and 1997).
After the end of his playing career, he became a coach. He worked in the junior team “Sparta” (under 18 years), coached “Berounshti Medvedy”, the main team of “Sparta”, “ Karlovy Vary ”. Now he is an assistant to the head coach of the Czech national team (under 16 years old).
