The State Museum of Art of Adjara ( Georgian აჭარის ხელოვნების სახელმწიფო მუზეუმი ) is an art museum located in Batumi (Z. Gorgiladze Street, 8), in the Republic of Adjara , in Georgia .

The area of the museum is 1716 m², the area of the permanent exhibition is 423 m², the area of temporary exhibitions is 383 m², the storage rooms are 65 m² [1] .
History
The museum was founded in 1998 and housed in a building built in 1949 in the style of the Stalinist empire by the architect Kakha Javakhishvili and sculptor Tamara Abakelia (until 1998 there was a museum telling about the history of the 1917 revolution).
The museum's collection includes paintings, engravings and sculptures by Georgian and foreign artists including Niko Pirosmani , David Kakabadze , Lado Gudiashvili , Elena Akhvlediani , Stefan Bakalovich , Rusudana Petviashvili , A. Zommer, Irakli Ochiauri N. Ignatov, A. Zankovsky, Merab Berzeni , Zurab Nizharadze , Anzor (Gogi) Chagelishvili , Gia Bugadze and many others.
There is a permanent exhibition of Georgian sculpture, ceramics, prints and decorative fabrics, and temporary exhibitions are also organized. The museum has a Sunday art studio for children and a library.
