Biography
Pupil of the football school of the Moscow "Torpedo" . In 1946-1947 he played in adult competitions for the club team of car manufacturers.
In 1948 he moved to Moscow Lokomotiv , made his debut in class A on September 7, 1948 in an away match against Kuibyshev’s Wings of the Soviets [1] . In total, he played two games with the railwaymen. In 1949-1952 he played for the Air Force , but was not the main player, having spent only 7 matches in the country's championships. In total, in the major league he played 9 matches.
In the last years of his playing career, he played in the class “B” for “ Chemist ” (Moscow), “ Spartak ” (Kalinin) and “ Vanguard ” (Sormovo / Gorky). As part of Vanguard, he was a playing coach (the head coach at that time was his older brother Vasily).
In 1958-1959, he was the head coach of the Znamya Truda club (Orekhovo-Zuevo), in 1960-1961 he coached the Vanguard (Kolomna). In 1962-1963 he led the youth team of North Vietnam.
Since 1961 he was engaged in refereeing. Judge of the All-Union (1972) and International (1977) categories, awarded the badge “Honorary Football Judge” (1984). In the major league of the USSR in 1972-1977 he worked at 41 matches as the main referee. Also in the 1970s, he served matches of European competitions and international matches of national teams. In 1977 he was included in the list of the best judges of the season in the USSR .
In 1965-1989 he worked as a senior teacher at the departments of physical education of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov and PFUR them. Patrice Lumumba .
He died in Moscow on October 8, 1989 at the 63rd year of his life. He was buried at Vostryakovsky cemetery .
Personal life
Brothers George (1915-1981) and Vasily (1918-1978) were also famous football players and coaches.
