Mezzozol ( Belor. Mezzazol ) is a lake in the Dokshitsy district of the Vitebsk region of Belarus . Refers to the Berezina river basin .

Description
Lake Mezzozol is located 18 km north-sunrise from the city of Dokshitsy , near the village of Biruli . Refers to the basin of the Berezina river, which flows through the lake.
It is a remnant of the ancient glacial Verkhne-Berezinsky lake formed during the Valdai glaciation [2] . After the glacier left, the Verkhne-Berezinsky Lake became shallow and turned into a swampy lowland, in the lowest places of which there are small reservoirs [3] .
The surface area of the lake is 3.02 km², length - 2.96 km, the greatest width - 1.4 km. The coastline is about 9 km. The volume of water is 8.1 million m³. The greatest depth is 5.3 m. The catchment area is 381 km².
The slopes of the lake basin are low, swampy, peaty , forested. The northern slopes are plowed up and reach a height of 4-8 m. The shores are low, swampy, peaty; in the north - basins merging with the slopes, sandy. The bottom is sapropelic .
The lake is very overgrown. The width of the vegetation strip is 80-100 m, the distribution depth is up to 1.5-2 m.
